I arrived at Delmas' clinic in complete despair.  Inactivity due to having chronic arthritis in both hips had led to terrible deterioration of my leg ulcers.  The surgeons could not undertake a hip operation while I had the ulcers, because of the real possibility that the leg ulcers could infect the post OP wound.  Nothing could happen while my legs were in a mess.  This went on over a number of years, until I was fortunate enough to be referred to Delma.  My local GP had let me down badly and I'd given up on them.  From day one, Delma assured me that we would beat the ulcers.  From that day, my life started to begin again.  Delma and her team methodically went about dealing with the ulcers.  My legs started to appear again out of the ulcerated mess Delma had been given.  I have just had my second hip replacement and now have two completely normal looking legs, thanks to Delma and her team.
